Grandma’s Chicken crackling (or scratchings) is made from two ingredients, chicken skin, and salt. We only use New Zealand Chicken Skin. The crackling is cooked in its own fat, most of our customers use it for the Keto diet.
Chicken crackling makes an excellent low carb snack. A small amount of fat is left on the skin to retain flavour and it is cut into small bite-size pieces, pop some crunch into your mouth while watching a movie, but be warned it is addictive!
Great ground up to make crispy ” bread” crumbs now you can be keto and have crumbed schnitzel!
How about with dips such as Guacamole, or in a salad as “croutons”
